Google Pays for Kids Infinite Profit

Google has agreed to pay at least $ 19 million in compensation to customers whose children have made purchases on Google Play without their consent, according to France-Presse.

Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission United States Edith Ramirez said that in our days of mobile technology, “it is very important to remind companies about the importance of consumer protection, including the fact that consumers do not have to pay for the purchases that they do not allow.”

Google may charge customers between $ 0.99 and $ 200 for different applications. In some applications used by children, players are encouraged to accumulate virtual items account for which you may be issued without the knowledge of parents.
