New “Apples” from Beats
Beats Electronics introduced its first product since its merger with Apple – Wireless Headphones Solo2 Wireless. This is stated in the message Beats.
Apple earlier this year bought developer of audio technology – Beats Electronics – for $ 3 billion. Co-founders Beats – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the label Interscope Records Jimmy Ayovin and rapper Andre Young, better known as Dr. Dre, – joined the team Apple. Headphones Solo2 Wireless – this is the first product released Beats since absorption.
Headphones Solo2 Wireless equipped with Bluetooth-connection module. According to the manufacturer, the user can listen to music at a distance of 9 meters from the playing device. Using the «b» button and the volume control on the headphones themselves you can switch to an incoming call, skip the song or change the volume.
Battery in Solo2 Wireless is able to work up to 12 hours in wireless mode. It can be recharged or connected to the unit via a cable RemoteTalk.
The cost of the device is $ 300 in the US. Headphones will be selling in the official Apple stores and in a number of other retail stores. Solo2 Wireless will be available in red, black, white and blue, and red headphones will be sold exclusively by the operator Verizon Wireless.
Additionally, Beats announced a new range of colours for conventional wired headphones Solo2. In the pre-season, the company will release a collection of Royal Edition, including headphones in grey, green, purple, pink and blue, priced at $ 200.
